Searching the Discussion Board
You can search the Discussion Board using several different options.
Information on forcing posts to be moderated prior to publishing.
You can lock forums to prevent editing of previously published posts. Students can still access and read the forum.
Students can rate the post on a five-star rating system. This provides a “peer review” option for the forum.
Subscribe to Threads and Forums
Blackboard allows students and instructors to subscribe to a thread. Once you subscribe, you will receive an email alert when the post is updated or a reply is added to the post.
